My parents were visiting over the past week, which gave Jean and I a great excuse to get out to the Oregon Garden and visit The Gordon House (the only Frank Lloyd Wright house publicly available to tour in the Pacific North West, and the only Frank Lloyd Wright house in Oregon). While I was able to get a good number of pictures from inside the house, I’ve opted not to include them in the gallery below as the quality was far below what I’d consider as shareable images. If you ‘must’ see them I might be persuaded to share them out in their own separate gallery.
We had a lovely time hosting my parents, who opted to tour the Rose Garden in Portland on their own but allowed us to drag them around the 80 acres and 20 individual specialty sections of the Oregon Garden on a gorgeous sunny Sunday afternoon. We really couldn’t have asked for better weather to tour the gardens; a mix between clouds and bright sun, hanging around 70 degrees all day was just perfect.
Without further ado, following are the images from the day which I found to be worth sharing out. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed the opportunity to capture them!
