Great LinkedIn Feature for Job Seekers
LinkedIn has a little known feature that change how you search for new roles. With this feature, we as job seekers can now express interest in working for a company without having to apply for a specific role. This makes it easier for job seekers to connect with a desired company, without having to wait for that perfect role to be posted and hope your triggered alerts show you in time!
This LinkedIn feature is a game-changer for job seekers, and hiring teams alike, as it provides a fast and efficient way for both parties to connect with one another. By using this feature, job seekers can show their interest in a company, without having to go through the arduous process of applying for a specific role. It also makes it easier for hiring teams to find qualified candidates for open positions.
To use this feature:
- Visit the “About” tab on a company’s LinkedIn page
- Click the “I’m interested” button.
- Once you’ve done so, recruiters at the company will be able to view your profile when searching for interested candidates within the LinkedIn Recruiter view.
I think this new feature is a great way for job seekers to get our foot in the door at a company we’re very interested in working for. It also makes it easier for hiring teams to find qualified candidates for open positions.
