We just can’t seem to stay away from the island, especially when the currency exchange rate between the US and Canadian dollar is so much in our favour as US citizens. So, of course we made good use of our time and money while gallivanting around Victoria and outlying cities.
I didn’t take many photos this trip since we were really just focused on relaxing at Brentwood Bay Resort & Spa (a place that we highly recommend and is one of the main reasons we keep coming back to the island). The first 15 images and last 3 are all shot from our room’s balcony. In the middle of the gallery is a shot from a boat looking back to the resort. We did, of course do a few touristy things like tea and dinner at the Empress Hotel, a stroll through the Royal BC Museum, a sea-plane tour, some wine and cider tastings, and a nice long half-day wandering through Butchart Gardens where I shot the majority of images, ending with dinner there as well (another high recommendation if you ever find yourself on the island).
