The beginning of the end in OC

This entry was posted by on Thursday, 10 August, 2006 at

We met with our Realtor Eddie this evening. The house goes on the market next Thursday. Time to clean and make some of the small repairs we have neglected for the past 2 years.

Slowly but surely this is all becoming more real. And it scares the hell out of me.

  1. damn.

It’s going to be so hard to watch you two leave.

  2. Well, you won’t have to for a while – the place will probably be on the market for 60 days.

  3. Yah, but 60 days goes by like *snap* THAT! 🙁

Hey, you guys got any free time on Sat 8/19 or Sun 8/20?

  4. The 20th of Augus looks open on my end.

  5. I can’t see it taking 60 days to sell your place, seriously.

  6. Yeah, well, you haven’t been around for the past 6 months. Things are starting to drop here and the average time on the market now is 60 days. Sad but true. So we’ll see.

The good news is there should be an upswing in the Portland market just after we buy in to it 🙂

  7. We’re in the mists of one here, when we go to sell, we’ll be at the best possible time.

  8. PERFECT! (We should have sold 9 months ago to have gained the biggest benefit, but we weren’t ready then. Either way, we’re still not doing too bad for ourselves)

  9. pencil me in 🙂

Let’s get together on the 20th; I’ll drive down 🙂

  10. Re: pencil me in 🙂
