Another 3 or so down…

246 even, now. I just wish it would start showing 🙂

Eating has become easier for me now. I don’t find myself as hungry as I did at the beginning, though I do still get those HUGE NASTY cravings for a big burger, or some other food item that has no place on the Jenny plans.

So far so good… we’ll see what next week brings.

  1. I dropped 2 pounds even this week. I feel like we are doing really well!

  2. I’m glad you feel like you are doing well 🙂

I’ll feel that way when I actually see a difference other than just the numbers on the scale decreasing. As yet I still don’t SEE or feel any difference in the way my clothes fit, etc.

  3. That seems odd that you have lost almost 30 lbs., but you aren’t seeing it anywhere! Maybe you lost it in all of your extremities or something.

  4. It totally shows! I noticed the difference in your face when I was out there a few weeks ago.

  5. Great… so I have a thin face and a fat body.
I just want my clothes to fit better. Losing weight in my FACE doesn’t help!!!!!!!!

Jean’s 2 pounds changes everything for her as she can now wear some of her old clothes again. I lose nearly 30 and yet my clothes still fit the same.

  6. congratulations! I understand all too well how difficult this journey is!

  7. 🙂 thanks. Luckily, it is getting easier little by little. Still frustrating, but I’m not as ravenous as I was at the beginning. I am hopeful that I will be able to reach my goal weight sometime in December/January.

  8. Well, kinda. I’m losing it around the middle, but not in the chestal region, so now I’m wearing two different sizes for top and bottom. I’m hoping to lose at least a little on top!

  9. Did you measure yourself before you started? 30 pounds is a lot, it HAD to come off somewhere, try measuring again.

  10. measure? nope. pants fit just like they did before. I don’t need a tape-measure to tell me that.

can’t measure again if I never did in the first place. besides, measuring, like the scale, is just numbers… I don’t care about numbers, I care about feeling different, and I don’t feel any different, regardless of what the scale or some tape measure says.

Remember my point in starting this diet was not to lose weight, but rather to become more healthy. While I can point to a scale and pretend I am successful, the fact that I don’t feel any different makes me feel less-so.

  11. So, if you haven’t lost it in a place we CAN see, it must be in a place we can’t see.

    C’mon J, is there shrinkage?

  12. If there IS shrinkage, it was in an area small enough to begin with so that I still wouldn’t notice…

  13. I’m not seeing much difference myself and I’m down close to 30 lbs. I sorta see it in my face and my wedding ring refuses to stay on.

You guys are doing great though! Keep it up!

  14. AH! good… at least I am not the only one 🙂
